Microsoft’s Future Vision

This is an oldie but a goodie. I thought this was worth posting, especially for those who haven’t seen this before. Produced by Oh, Hello and directed by Mason Nicoll, it presents Microsoft’s vision of the future. The project was developed through Microsoft Office Labs in 2009 and it’s interesting to see that some of the technology featured in this clip has now become widely used.

I really love videos like this, and enjoy seeing how other people envision the future. The clip demonstrates different technologies and in everyday situations, and makes it easy for viewers to imagine it as reality. The classroom window scene and the electronic newpaper surface is still for me a really fun thought.
