UI design in 007 – Quantum of Solace

The UI design in 007 – Quantum of Solace is beautiful and well worth highlighting. MK12 who were responsible for the UI design, created a wonderful graphic style but the magic is really in the animation. A lot of love has been put into the way the interface elements move with interaction, like how there’s a bit of lag and elasticity when the MI6 agent moves things around on the interactive table top.

It’s the way all the elements move and reshuffle to deliver information that brings the interfaces to life and makes them believable. There’s a lot of personality in the UI design in this film. It makes me want to jump in and start playing with it.

  1. This is why I love Daniel Craig’s Bond. The technology seems to match him more and the sleek/sophisticated nature of it makes his life look more exciting.

Also, I friggin’ love this site. Wow.

Golden Eye for Wii uses this same interface style. Here are the two of the designers that worked on it.

      Nice find!!

The game interface graphics are fantastic in their own right! Good to see the style continued to the game and treated so well.

      Thanks Will
