Surviving The Future - Data visualisation by Tendril
This is a montage of shots from a documentary by Tendril that deals with the changing world and the advancement of technology. It's very short but if you're quick you can catch some neat examples of data visualisation.
It mostly consists of scanning, medical and tracking data. What's interesting is that there's some clips showing what looks like nerve ends sending signals to one another, which made me think "does that qualify for data vis?" Maybe, or maybe not? Either way it might be a good reference for how to visualise electronic data in an organic way.
