Motorola Bendable Concept Phone
Here’s a look at Motorola’s Adaptive Display Concept, which is essentially a bendable smart phone with interesting features. It’s great to see concepts that explore the use of flexible displays, which has recently become more feasible and affordable.
The best application of the flexible feature that Motorola has shown, is the ability to attach it to your wrist and to stand it up on a flat surface. To take the concept further, it would be great to be able to mount, hook or attach a smart phone to any surface, perhaps if the phone was even more flexible in the future, it would be possible.
In terms of attaching the phone to your wrist, it becomes like a sort of smart-bracelet. It’s quite thick right now but in the future I’m sure it would be plausible to have a thin slap-band version, which would be much more practical.
It’s not the first time I’ve seen this idea presented, but it’s encouraging to see other brands play and evolve on the idea until eventually it becomes a reality.
What do you think? Would you want something like this in the future?
